This 42-year-old patient had been self-conscious about the size of her nose all her life. She did not like the dorsal hump and described that her nose as looking boney. She also did not like how her nasal tip was droopy and bulbous. She was looking for a more “elegant” nose with a straight nasal dorsum and a tip that was more refined and lifted. In addition to that she was bothered by the excess on skin on her upper eyelids and felt that they made her look tired and sleepy.
She met with Dr Antunes at his Austin, Texas, Facial Plastic Surgery Practice for a consultation to discuss her options. During the exam Dr Antunes examined her nose and her eyes and performed computer image morphing to determine her goals with her rhinoplasty.
The patient is shown here 1 year after her rhinoplasty and upper blepharoplasty. She is super happy with the results and feels that the procedure was able to make her feel more confident and look younger.
