Like any hair transplant procedure, we perform a beard transplant by harvesting healthy, growing hair follicles from a donor area of your scalp, and artfully grafting them to carefully designed locations. Your beard transplant procedure

As with a standard hair transplant, donor follicles can be obtained one of two ways:

FUE transplant

An FUE (follicular unit extraction) procedure involves extracting individual follicular units (which typically have three to four follicles) from the back of your scalp. This technique is high precision, but is minimally invasive, has a quick recovery time, and leaves no visible scarring.

FUT transplant

An FUT (follicular unit transplantation) procedure, also known as “strip harvesting,” involves the removal of a small area of the back of your scalp that contains a large number of healthy follicles for the transplant. This has a slightly longer recovery time and produces a thin, linear scar, but it allows us to harvest more follicles and obtain more volume and fullness.
