- Revision Rhinoplasty
This 31-year-old patient has always been unhappy with the appearance of her nose. After a long wait, she underwent a rhinoplasty while living in Florida. Initially, she was happy with her results, but after about a year, she started noticing irregularities on her nasal tip that progressively got worse. In addition, she started having some difficulty breathing. She was looking for a nose with a smooth and straight nasal bridge and a tip that was more refined, lifted, and with a smooth contour.
She met with Dr. Antunes at his Austin, Texas, Facial Plastic Surgery Practice for a consultation to discuss her options. During the exam Dr Antunes examined the inside and outside of her nose, discussed her goals, and performed computer image morphing to confirm that the patient’s goals with her revision rhinoplasty were realistic.
The patient is shown here 1 year after her revision rhinoplasty. She is very pleased with her result and feels that the procedure also improved her breathing.
