- Revision Rhinoplasty
This 21-year-old patient had always been unhappy with the appearance of her nose. After a long wait, she submitted to a rhinoplasty during a sinus procedure. Immediately afterward, she noted that her dorsal hump was not fully removed and felt that, over time, it worsened as her nasal tip became increasingly droopy. She was looking for a nose with a smooth and straight nasal bridge and a tip that was more refined, lifted, and with a smooth contour.
She met with Dr. Antunes at his Facial Plastic Surgery Practice in Austin, Texas, for a consultation to discuss her options. During the exam, Dr. Antunes examined the inside and outside of her nose, discussed her goals, and performed computer image morphing to confirm that the patient’s goals with her revision rhinoplasty were realistic.
The patient is shown here 1 year after her revision rhinoplasty. She is very pleased with her results and feels that her new nose renewed her self-confidence.
